Features
Platform
The REST API inbound connector extracts data from external REST API endpoints and loads the data into Nitro tables. The connector allows users to maximize their data integrations without creating and running custom scripts. The REST API connector is not limited to specific data sources and can be used to source data from most web applications that offer data using REST APIs. Both secure and open APIs are supported.
Refreshing FTP Connector Test Data
Admins can easily refresh FTP source type connectors, including custom connectors, in a test instance with the latest data and metadata from a corresponding connector in the production instance, thus syncing their data and metadata. This allows users to test star logic and run test reports with production data.
Accessing the Nitro Data lake from the NAC
Users can now access the data files underlying the FTP and Intelligent Object connectors in their workspaces directly from the Nitro data lake using the NAC, instead of using tables in the data warehouse. This provides faster data access and faster data loading into dataframes for insight generation.
Schema Tables in the NAC Loading Faster
The schema tables for connectors accessed from the NAC now load faster. This allows users to access schema-specific information more quickly.
ETL User Permission Added to Workspaces by Default
The ETL user permission is applied to all existing and new workspaces by default. This enables users to transfer work from the development environment to multiple production environments.
