Outbound Connectors

Comma Support Ended for UNLOAD Parameters

UNLOAD parameters cannot be concatenated using commas (,). Existing UNLOAD commands that contain commas will be updated to remove the commas so that they remain unaffected.

New Variables to Support Date and Datetime Formats

Two variables are added to support date and datetime formats without hyphens for use in outbound connectors:

  • $[CDW_jobYYYYMMDD] - Stamps the job start date in YYYYMMDD format
  • $[CDW_jobYYYYMMDDHHMMSS] - Stamps the job start datetime in YYYYMMDDHHMMSS format

Platform

Data Quality Jobs in Job Orchestration Flow

If a data quality job is added to a Job Orchestration, it displays in green with a thicker outline because the behavior is different compared to other ETL jobs. If the data quality job is selected, metadata related to the rule/group, with connector and job information, displays.

Deleting Rule Groups from the NAC

Users can now delete rule groups from the Data Quality Rule Catalog page. When deleting a rule group, rules assigned to the group are moved to Unassigned. If the rule group is referenced in an existing scheduled job or Job Orchestration, users must delete or update the rule group, otherwise unexpected results can occur.

Updates to Job Orchestration

Basic connector and jobID information now displays when a Job node in the Job Orchestration flow is selected. For FTP jobs, source and target table information also displays.

Canceling Jobs from the NAC

Admins can now request to abort a job from the Job History page in the NAC. If the request is processed, all ETL processing related to the job is stopped.

FTP File Persistence

Beginning with 203.3.100 (targeted release date 2/25/2021), all files in all folders will be removed from the FTP directory 180 days after file creation.
