Support for Salesforce Territory Management 2.0

Veeva Nitro now supports Salesforce’s Territory Management 2.0 (TM2.0). TM2.0 includes major changes to core CRM objects leveraged by Nitro’s CRM Intelligent Sync Connectors and by Nitro Analytics.

TM2.0 replaces the original Territory Management Salesforce module (TM1.0) which is being retired in June 2021.

All Veeva customers must migrate to TM2.0 before June 2021.

Migrating from TM1.0 to TM 2.0

For new Nitro customers starting on TM2.0, the newly provisioned Nitro cluster supports TM2.0 without any migration necessary.

With this release, existing customers (before the 19R3 release) can take advantage of a migration utility that transitions data without any disruption to Nitro’s ODS, DDS, and other territory related analytic schema.

Planning and executing the TM1.0 to TM2.0 migration in Veeva CRM (as outlined here) is a mandatory prerequisite to executing the Nitro TM1.0 to TM2.0 migration step. Once the prerequisite is complete, log a support ticket with the Nitro team to execute the migration utility.

Features

Outbound Connectors

Generating the Trust Relationship

After an outbound connector is created in Nitro, admins can generate the trust credentials in the proper JSON format needed for the target S3 bucket. This makes it easier to write data to S3 and eliminates the need for a support ticket.

Platform Capabilities

Job Orchestration

The Job Orchestration details page now has a Play button that, when selected, executes that specific job orchestration.
