Creating Empty Tables for New Users

New users can run the Create Tables job to create empty tables in the ODS and DDS schemas for each table in the associated .yml file. This allows customers to see each table’s fields and columns and how data would flow from the flat file into Nitro’s reporting layer. Users can start building their analytics models before loading any data, saving them time and effort.

To create empty tables and view the schema:

1. Log into the NAC.

2. Schedule or run the Create Tables job.

3. Use an external tool or Nitro Explorer to view the schemas.
